IN THE NEWS OF ME!
-Quit my picture frame job, at the great frame up.
-I got an apprenticeship at a tattoo shop, called art alliance.
-I am almost done with my apprenticeship at art alliance
-I am helping the new owner/mentor Ryan Dearringer in re-opening it as a new shop called Black Market Tattoo
-Moved into a house with my brother and my friend David McBride
-Lots of photos to come of nonsense from the tattoo shop
That’s right! I will one of ten artist there selling work on the Mass Ave. strip (just me not that lazy tattoo bum Dane). The artist will be set up in front of select businesses from 5-9pm. Not sure what business Ill get but I hope its LUNA or Bazbeaux for free foods

Thanks to everyone who came out to the Fountain Square Art Fair to see us despite my poor advertising. Website news includes, Dane and I slowly putting up dysfunctional paypal buttons under works of art. Lots of updating still needs to be done on this sinking ship.
Next Friday June 25, Dane and I will have a booth at Birdy’s. There will mind-blowing comedy, music, audience involved drinking games and artist showing their work throughout the length of the show. Birdy’s is located at 71 & Keystone, the doors open at 8pm with a $7 cover fee

My work and a few of Dane’s pieces are being hung through the month of March. I have managed to put off pretty much everything I planned on doing for the show. This Monday I should have buttons & magnets for sale even though the gallery is half way through…..Im so lazy. Since the start of school I’ve done nothing but crank out assignment after assignment. Three Dimension Design which is perhaps my hardest class for a couple reasons. The biggest reason is familiarity with different sculpture mediums. I think my professor also has it in for me as well, taking some days to slowly shave away my ego. My professor is a talented artist and I respect his critiques but he spends more time shooting peoples ideas rather than teaching people better and more innovative ways to address the assignment. Here’s my cardboard sculpture.

April 1-30th I will not be completing any commissions what so ever, I will be accepting commissions in April however for May.
During April I will be putting together a commissions guideline and pricing chart for the future commissions
So this year I started school at Herron School of Art and Design after two failed attempts of admission, first for those pesky high school grades and later for insufficient credits. I’m finally gong to a real art school at last with actual art classes taught by mostly talented professionals. Class however for the first year is composed entirely of mandatory foundation courses, your basic drawing class and bullshit classes that you’d think all incoming freshman would know. On the bright side most of the students are of the female variety (SCORE!1!), even if most of them are spoiled, sheltered, and socially awkward but they’re still woman. This is a defiant upgrade from some of the things that crawled around the halls of Ivy Tech. First car breakdown of the year happened over the weekend. My radiator cracked partly from old age and Indiana’s lovely 42 degree weather one week, then continuing to drop 1 foot of snow and 30degrees. I CANT WAIT FOR MY TAX RETURN!!!!!!

I figured I should post something considering my last entry was in october, which dane added that lovely tag line. “Bolf” is a missprounciation of the word both, one of dane’s most frequent spoken piece of our granparents past. I can also assume that Dane dosn’t reread very much of what he writes either, maybe he might even put a blindfold on before getting ready to hammer out another entry but enough mudslinging for now. Schools is back with vengeance taking my free time and beating it like it owes him money. I’m attending school full time now, instead of the cushy one class a week I had last semester at Ivy Tech. My weekely schedule starts by going school monday through thursday and working days Tuedays and Thursdays( 6a.m.!!1!one) and most of the weekend. Herron is a million times better than ivy tech!!!!!! Even more good news( sorta), I finally got an apartment after a battle with the infamouse Zender number 1 all time lowest google score leasing office agencey in Indy. Turns out if your apartment complex requires a cosigner, you cant have the same cosigner as your sibling living in that same complex that your moving into. I had to pay half my lease in cash to those oily bastards because I didnt have another cosigner being that Im a bit of a bastard child being raised by my grandparents. I also had to pay two securiety deposits, one of them was equal to one months rent. The lady at the leasing office asked me why I was having a bad day? I told her when someone has to fork over half their checking account they tend to be a little irrate. New place is nice over all, lots of storage, wood floors, tall ceilings,ALL UTILITIES PAID and it stays surprising warmer than my brothers apartment.
